Anthracnose disease - Oct 2013

Anthracnose disease (visually very similar to fusarium) is a fungal growth which effects thatch, it's common on most courses and often appears at certain points of the year, as this summer has been a very dry season it has affected most courses in a harder way and now needs to be kept a close eye on.. Fungicide's are available to use but there are also natural practises that also help..
After reading an article from a turf specialist on how anthracnose is slowly changing we come across a interesting sentence.....
