Greens maintenance complete

Greens maintenance now complete, greens have been scarified in 2 directions taking out alot of thatch and traces of moss, over seeded with a fescue mix, top dressed, brushed, cut, rolled, fertilised and then watered, the new seed should start coming through within the next 7-10 days depending on weather.
Our plans to verti drain the greens (spike) has been put back 4-6 weeks due to the greens being slightly too hard to get down as deep as we would like to go (13inches), this will help the drainage and surface water through the winter months..
It's been a long tough week with extra hours worked and its taken its toll on us all especially our hard working Clivos

  1. Well done all.

I have to say the sand on some of the greens this week did help me to read the greens as the track left by my partners put spoke volumes...:-)
